Brand Story

Believe it or not, we, Yuvraj and Srishti, decided on the name KNN Calcutta when we were merely in the sixth grade! Hailing from a family with its roots set deep into the Indian ethnic fashion industry, we always knew our calling, but hadn't fully developed our aesthetic then.

We both went to school in Calcutta & pursued our respective business degrees in the States - and between our academics and family lives, we always found ourselves gravitating towards our family office - getting awestruck, spending time with the concoction of fabrics, colours and textures all around us. We grew up wanting to recreate this environment for ourselves, in our own special way & essentially try to capture the same feeling, on our grid & beyond every single day.

Over the years, we both realized that we gravitate most towards modern contemporary aesthetics and started working towards KNN Calcutta during our summer breaks throughout school and college. With each passing day we discover something new about ourselves & as we peel off layers within, we keep adding them to our brand. KNN Calcutta is a work in progress as we believe in blending our aesthetics organically with each other and the brand, and it will always be a work in progress till we keep discovering new thoughts, visions & passions within.
